Their main attraction is actually the services they provide to the guests. The largest cruiseships operating across the world are - the Freedom of The Seas, closely followed by Queen Mary-2. The journey itself is meant to be joyride.

- Princess Cruises:
Princess Cruises is renowned for its Grand Class cruiseliners that consist of the Grand Princess, Golden Princess and Star Princess. The massive Grand class cruiseships offer a range of comparatively small bars and restaurants, in order to give off a more homely vibe. 

The Gem class cruiseliners from Mitsubishi, consisting of Diamond and Sapphire are similar to the cruiseships of Grand in terms of exterior and size. The Royal Caribbean also boasts of lavish ships that offer a wide variety of activities on-board the cruiseliner as well as on-shore. They have relatively more extravagant three deck main restaurants unlike the Grand class cruiseliners. 

Princess Cruises also have their own private beach called the Princess Cays, on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas. Their main attraction is a coral reef with many tropical fish swimming about. They also offer music, bars, barbecue, water sports and much more.

Carnival CruiseLine is another famous name which unlike the previous ones offers a lower rate and a shorter journey. They have succeeded to reel in much of the younger crowd due to this. Even though they are smaller cruiseliners the allure still remains. Cruiseships have attracted a large number of tourists and have turned out to be very successful in the tourism industry.
